For my first show with Art International Radio I spoke with longtime Upper East Side gallerist Leila Heller. She is the founder of New York’s LTMH Gallery, one of the only galleries in the US that has devoted nearly its entire repertoire to Middle Eastern artists. Heller discusses her transition from life in her native Iran to working in the New York art world after the 1979 Iranian Revolution, and speaks to art’s vibrant and integral part of life in Iran.
