Conde Nast Traveler|
Mamilla Hotel

14.07.2010 | by Marisa Mazria Katz

I went undercover this year for Conde Nast Traveler and checked out Jerusalem’s newest boutique hotel–Mamilla. Designed by Piero Lissoni, this is indeed one of the more refined accommodations in the city. The location is also a major perk–its a five minute walk from the old city.

If you find yourself in Jerusalem and are looking for an experience that combines luxury and history–I would also consider the American Colony. This hotel is one of the most beautiful in the region–and it is because of its location (East Jerusalem) it was often used as a spot for diplomatic meetings (on any given day you can see a handful of embassy employees from around the world intermixing with journalists and aid workers).
