While in Beijing for Creative Time Reports, I met with some incredible people. Included in that list was the artist Ai Weiwei, who later this year wrote an powerful op-ed for Creative Time Reports, which you can read HERE. The interview marked the first time Creative Time Reports shared a story with The Guardian. The inimitable British publication has now added Creative Time Reports to their Comment Network.

Excited by the timing of my trip, which lined up with the opening of ON OFF, a seminal show at the Ullens Center, Monocle asked me to interview the contemporary art center’s director, Phil Tinari, and one of the artists in the show, Lu Fang.

You can listen to the conversation HERE
