A Little Heaven in Mexico City

As a long time fan of Mexico City, with even some family members from Syria who have lived in the city for nearly a century, I was very excited to find out about the new Soumaya Museum. Built by Carlos Slim, one of the world’s richest men, this museum will be the largest of its kind in Latin America. The building was designed by Slim’s son-in-law, Fernando Romero of LAR Architects, who I had a chance to meet in New York City this year.
